Virgin Islands shroom ID needed

I'm in St Croix where we've had a lot of rain lately. These shrooms came up over my septic field and no one here can ID them. The caps are 6 inches across and stems are about 2" and everything but the gills are a light tan color. The gills were blueish green before I dried them. Does anyone no what they might be? Here are the pics:

... and more on the way. I am so sick of rain. I'm not too far from you (about 40 miles), but I can't help with the IDs, sorry.

ophyllum molybdites, the Green-spored Lepiota from the overall look, the habitat [i'm assuming grass, ho correct me if otherwise] and the gill color you mentioned, though the color should be greenish gray, not blue-green.
if you want a trustworthy id, give us a copmplete description.

Chlorophyllum molybdites looks to it so won't be sampling :-) Projectile diarrhea would not be very much fun.

I thought the same immediatly when I saw the pictures. The gill color seems to vary from white (when young) to a number of shades of grey/blue/green, from what I've seen at least. It's kind of odd none of the guides I've ever read have listed these as look-alikes for cubes, from a distance they are fucking identical.

yes, while the resemblance is superficial and easily dispelled with a close look to those familiar with cubensis, it is eaten by unprepared/inexperienced cubensis huters often enough to be counted a look-alike.
more reason a hunter should know the species they are hunting inside and out before consuming them, and know all the deadly, and the more common, less toxic species in the area. at least in the areas/habitat shared by the target species.

Thats exactly what I'm saying. It's easy to tell the difference if you know what your doing, but I could see a first timer making the mistake easily. I can't believe it's not included as a look-alike in anything I've read.

There are some that look even closer than that!! A darker bronze cap in which the skin doesnt peel off easily and gills that with age can go from that green to a darker shade resembling Cubes even more. I ate one a little over a year ago from today that I found in a cow field right nect to Copes and was throwing up and shitting for a good 2 hours before getting taken to the hospital. Here in FLorida, those account for 95% of shroom poisonings.
