I don't get what I am doing wrong. my mushrooms are healthy, so it cant be something im doing...well..i don't think.


and when I say dealer shrooms I mean "commercially grown:...AKA someone that grew pounds and pounds for distribution. Not just some kid with a pressure cooker and a closet. I get the idea..theres no real such thing as dealer mushrooms...but the fact remains that on 3 separate occasions I bought widely distributed mushrooms from "dealers" and they were all atleast 3x as strong as anything I have grown.

now please stop being wiseasses..im not retarded. I might be a little slow, but Im not stupid.


anyway, I guess I will keep trying. But theres no way you should have to eat 8 grams of my homegrowns to get the same effects as 3 grams of some other dudes mushrooms.






when my DMT is weak...what will you guys say? genetics? :lol:

I may not play them music, I do use spring water on the dunk as I have plenty spare from my homebrew IPA. But as with all I grow I do my morning rounds and give them including my plants and cacti their water and good vibes before I leave for the office.

I read Lyle Watson's "Super Nature" and "The Secret Life of Inanimate Objects" book as a kid, guess it just stuck with me.

Just use tap water for the dunk

Where do you get your spores?

I'm not gonna lie my last batch was weak but that's after I dried them..

You're probably over drying them..

Use a normal fan and let it blow until they dry.. Don't use any heat..

I used to fan dry them and they still came out weak

Two years ago I got a grow kit and some spore syringes (golden teacher?). I just did what it said and ended up with a couple ounces of very strong shit. 2.5G did what it's supposed to do and the friends I gave some to came back with big grins on their faces. I still have over a half ounce packed away.


Maybe you should, just for the hell of it, go the amateur route. Get a grow kit with PF jars already made and order some syringes - I think I got them from "free spores". Try something totally different and see if you get better results.

thats a possibility. I even tried it before..i left the shrooms in for 2 days to make sure they were cracker dry. If anything
.the shrooms i gave out weighed 3 grams instead of 4 or something. They were dry 98% at least

I have also been having this problem eating up to 8g(dry) with only a slight body high. Will be starting strain isolation in the next few weeks to try combat this.
MS or Isolated strain?
What color light do you use Oreilly? I read that color has something to do with potency, but i've read that the only thing is genetics :shrug:

yeah it all looks good to me... im stumped:shrug:. How are they when eaten fresh?

Also id try to do my own sub if I were you. Store bought manure and get some wheat straw from a straw trailer somewhere. Cut it up and use. Straw has always been the goto for extreme potency. Ive never seen it fail for consistent results. Straight coco coir brings decent results as well

Bill, my friend. Dont panic.

If u want dealer grade shrooms, u have to get into advanced techniques like agar work.

This is how it works. An advanced grower puts spores on a agar puck, they watch the spores germinate, then they look for the strongest, healthy mycelium, thats when the grower cuts the wedge and maybe does another agar isolation.

When u do multispore, its a whole mix of different strains, and they average out.

but with agar isolating techniques, u can get super shrooms! Aka dealer grade. Its not commercial, its just clever genetic selective.


Think of it like breeding pitbulls, if u want  the most aggressive dog, u have  to seperate out the weak ones. Just like mycelium and agar.
