heh thanks guys!! ya well my friend is actually good friends with my tattoo artist. it's funny because i didn't know that until after i made the appt and was telling my friend about it. im sure he'll be taking extra special care of me.

the guy is really down to earth - infact i haven't ever been to a studio that they have been THAT nice. my exboyfriend will be getting his done before me and i think he will stick around for mine, and then my friend eric is gonna be with me for the first 40 minutes (he's the one who knows my tattoo artist)

ooo 40oz - it's called Good Faeries, Bad Faeries by Brian Froud. I don't know if any of you remember but LittleShroom got a tattoo of one of Brian Froud's faeries and it came out wonderful.

JohnB` actually bought me the book for my 18th birthday. i remember we were in a hotel room on our way home from Cleveland, OH... hehe. i love the book, and i love him, and well - it just all is in its right place.

i know man, trying to sleep whilst fighting the urge to jack off can be quite the conuundrun :wink: i mean not that I would know personally but i read an article about it a while back :grin:

yeah that book is the shit...if my memory serves me correctly, the good fairys you view turning the pages one way, and the bad fairys you turn the pages backwards or u flip the book over or some shit...
come to think of it, i prolly still have it in a box with all the other sentimental garbage i packed away. :lol:

oo i know the artist - i am very fond of his work - i just don't know him personally. my friend actually hangs out with the guy - i just know the guy from people's experiences and from seeing his work and talking to him when i was making the appt.

i had to wait about 3 months for Tommy. lol.

i saw Sunday's portfolio (there was a ton of her work in the studio) and i thought it was really cool but something didn't really click for me.

eee!!!! today is the day! i'm printing out different sized versions of my "boon" to show my artist. im scared it might have to be bigger than i planned, but whatever, i think i feel comfortable enough to tell him straight up. :smile:  ahhh, i gotta get over to the bank and get some cash. im meeting my friend at the studio at 4:45... i kinda wish it was earlier - i wanna get this done!
