I dont know much about them I just thought Balls stayed kinda small..
Im shure there are some that dont get huge...
My buddy in Austin had a 14 foot Burmese that i helped take care of..
That damn snake bit me several times cause i was the only one who had balls enuff to pick it up...You learn pretty quickly to pick it up by the tail first so it kinda knows you are human and arent gonna harm it
He didnt take good enuff care of it an let it die... :mad:

I think Del would be best suited for my trouser snake. He only gets about 7 inches long and is only aggressive at certain times of the day

Oh I've had to slice open a few rats in my day... Sometimes the big garbage dump kind of rats would straight dominate the snakes and bite mighty big holes into them.
My ex girl was hardly amused over the feeding, not to mention when I had to do that to the rats lodged firmly into the flesh of the poor snakes. 

I always enjoyed feeding them though. Every two weeks on Friday after work it was gore and beer time. :grin:

Don't confuse rat snakes with corn snakes, there is a world of difference in regards to aggression. Generally speaking, rats are fiesty and corns are mellow. And as far as boas go, I really don't recommend them for beginners. I know ALOT of people who got boa constrictors their first time and were in over there head, especially when they showed a bit of aggession. After that the owner never touches the snake then it never gets tame and it starts a vicious cycle which usually ends up with them getting rid of it.

Yeah, it sucks when you get a feisty rat and it attacks back. I had one clamp down right on my snake's snout once. Took me a bit to get it off an not hurt the snake. :smirk:

I've seen a lot of vicious Corn snakes though, even if they're supposed to be pretty well adjusted to domestic life.
But hey, that's what they say about Constrictors too, innit? And those fuckers grow quite unmanagable.

The pet shop guy told us we could feed it wrabbits but we never did...I would wrap that huge thing around me when i would go to the mailbox and people would freak...He was slow so when he would start to strike you could dodge it sometimes :crazy: He belonged to my best friend who had a great ac bizzness in Austin ..I would go up there in the winter an work/hunt/party with him but he died last spring :frown:

This was my pride and joy, a 13 ft female Burmese python. She was a beautiful gold color wheras most are dark brown. Also, she was as tame as a puppy. I had her for a really long time but about 4 years ago she developed a really bad repiratory disease and I had to have her put to sleep. I donated her body to the local university where a biology class disected her. Sounds nasty but I wanted her death to have something positive come out of it. I know it sounds crazy but I really loved that snake, more than any other one I ever had and believe me, I had lots.

Yea Scratcher it took me about a week to get over the scare factor cause this snake was so big ...his name was Striker and had broken some fingers before...He died of respiratory also when i had to come back to Houston ...still makes me mad that my friend let him die because he was so afraid to take him out to warm in the sun
