it's scorching hot in northern cali these days. while checking my ganja plants yesterday i found this snake cooling off in the shade of a particularly big plant.

looks like a Garter snake from this angle...

my dad is a herpatoligist, so i get fed snake talk all day!

Keep that little guy around, rake. He may keep things that wanna nibble your plants away.

Oh, btw. This summer, I had the chance to sample some fine produce from Mendocino county.... Mmmmmm. Keep growin!... I mean goin.

Yeah! Snakes are totally cool. They won't eat the plants, but they will eat things that want to eat the plants. You should keep him as a pet and name him Indica  :grin: I have a good friend with a pet snake named that, I think it's a great name for a snake  :thumbup:
