We JUST got a case of Palate Wrecker in today. I'll be opening one as I close. The Gratitude IPA that Stone released here actually kinda sucked, which was disappointing.

I know you didn't ask me, but of the stuff they mentioned I'd rec the 2 Hearted, but I'm in the Midwest so I'm biased. Everything posted by those two is worth trying.

I have not had Westvleteren, but I hear Rochefort 10 is very comparable (and pretty available here in the U.S.) which I have had. Very, very good. That would be my Belgian. Stone "Enjoy By" would be my IPA. They just released "Enjoy By 12.26.14", but they usually have one every 6 weeks or so. The catch is that while some are distributed to every state (that gets Stone), most of them only make it to about a third of those states. Read more about that here-

120 is not my favorite either Jewunit, not that I don't think it is a very interesting drink. Evil Twin's Molotov Cocktail at 13% is the biggest IPA I've had that still tasted dank and piney like I expect an IPA to (albeit a very heavy feeling and sweet one). [Their new "Molotov Lite" at 8% and 4 packs of pint cans is incredible by the way] My threshold for a guzzable IPA is probably Stone's RuinTen (August release in 22oz) at 10.8%. So dangerously easy drinking.

I know this must be hard, but Joe/DustBunny, if you could recommend ONE IPA/Belgian for me to try, what would it be? I definitely am going to try to go down the list of what everyone has posted so far, but I'd love to start with the best

I really like the taste of this one right now.

Westmalle tripel is one of my favorites  Tried it for the first time in Belgium last year.

Thanks again! I have more than enough names to last me a few weeks, but of course you can always add to the list!

Let's hope my liver let's me get to all of them

Thanks for the link, I used the search setting to find tripels in my state... hopefully I will actually be able to find them in my area

Bitter Neighbor is pretty good and widely available if you like semi darker beers.

As a general rule I dislike IPA's but actually liked this one.
