red wine recommendation
    #2104541 - 11/14/03 03:14 AM (13 years, 1 month ago)

trapiche's malbec is a great wine. i discovered this wine a couple years ago and have been in love with it ever since. i don't even drink wine much anymore, but this is still one of my favorites. it comes from mendoza, argentina.

look for it next time you are after some red wine. you won't be disappointed.

I like to use two buck chuck is great for cooking.

in my latest cook book,

"Chef Tony RocknChopnCooking"

(you can find it at amazon)

Haha, amen bro'!

Another cheap one that I prefer to the two buck chuck is a $3 2002 Beaujolais Nouveau by Georges Dubceuf.  The Chronicle Wine Cellar behind the Pie-n-Burger in the greater Los Angeles area has quite the supply.  From them I also picked up a 2000 Bordeaux by Cordier at 65% merlot and 35% cab.. much heavier and not as fruity as the Beaujolais and $2 more - but still a good very good drink to couple grilled steak

My current obsession is Patricia Green. She's doing some amazing things up in oregon, and has somewhat of a cult wine following right now.

Check out a 2000, or 2001 pinot noir from patricia green. It's between 15-25$ a bottle, I think the 2000 though is actually more. Not a cheap wine, but jesus, it's a beatiful wine.

Try the Malbec's from France, the average-priced bottles are very good. I RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE TO GO OUT A GET A BOTTLE OF THE BEAUJOULAIS NOUVEAU!!! Out NOW!!!! have it with your turkey for thanksgiving.
