my white wine scramble MMMMM!
    #2815987 - 06/22/04 02:46 AM (12 years, 5 months ago)

now this is my first time posting a recipe but since this site is just that cool ide like to share my recipe with you all.
now who heres uses eggs in cooking? this ones a flavorful recipe when you have time in the morning and want to make yourself or your loved one a special breakfast!

now i dont know EXACT measurements but ill explain as best as i can.

what you will need

tools:
knife
frying pan
2 plates

foods:
2 eggs (or more)
lettuce
red or green bell peppers
an onion
dried or fresh shiitake (dried works better)
white wine

preparation:

take some kitchen scissors and cut your shiitake caps into 4ths or smaller depending on preferences. and put them in a pan of shallow boiling water till they start to rehydrate. the water may evaporate and u may need to add more, at this point its good to add a touch of wine white to this water so the shiitake will absorb it. its good to add a good amount as it evaporates just like water... but remember to keep the liquid shallow as to keep heat... while the shiitake are rehydrating, take a plate and dice up some onion, lettuce, and bell peppers.

mixing/cooking:

once the shiitake are looking good and all the white water has evaporated start adding the chopped ingredients. once these chopped items are in the pan with the shiitake, add a shallow pool of white wine for them to simmer in. after the wine has evaporated and your left with vegetables and mushrooms, crack open those 2 eggs and add to the batch! cook the eggs but not too much so they are still very tender and moist.

ingestion:

i personaly like to have them scrambled and add a pinch of ground black pepper to the mix it gives it even more of a flavor... and i usualy eat an english muffin thats been toasted and gobbed with butter... this goes VERY good with these eggs. the white wine shiitake pieces make my mouth water thinking about them right now, and taste totally wonderful.

well i hope you try this and enjoy it... i was bored, had free time, and was hungry one morning so i made this from the interesting things i had. comments are glady accepted!
