They are going to bill your company the parking ticket and you are going to look like a shitty person.  Just pay the ticket.  Also, parking signs in NYC/Philly can be really complicated.  If you aren't sure find another spot.

You broke the law and got a civil citation. Pay the ticket and be done with it. Drive and park like a safe, responsible driver and you won't have to worry about tickets.

The rental car company will likely pay it and bill your credit card, so go take care of it and see if you can't get it knocked down before it's gone from your bank; all of this is likely written out on the terms of service or operation when you signed up at the rental agency.

Not only will the rental car pay the ticket they will tack on a huge fee if you don't take care of it yourself

Pay the ticket or fight it, but don't try and tack the bill on someone else.

I'm pretty sure I parked in some places in Philly that I wasn't allowed. Couldn't find any street parking so I parked in a gravel lot by a bar once. The signs really are confusing in the central / busier districts. With the way you guys are talking about PPA, I'm surprised I wasn't ticketed or towed, especially since I had out-of-state tags.

I parked in a lot that goes by the honor system on another night in Philly. As in you're supposed to pay but there's not really anyone there to make you. I didn't pay. :haha:

If they do pay for it, do you know what this means? Free illegal shit. You can park in handicap spaces and the rental place will pay for it. You could park on the sidewalk and the rental place pays for it. You could completely shoot up a school inside of the car and the rental place will have to pay for it all. You could crash into a police station and guess who pays for it?
