Amphetamine tolerance from rare use...

Amps used to one of my favorite drugs, anymore though I have to take a lot and still barely get any positive effects.

I only use a few times a year, so I don't get it.

The only thing I can think of is a few times I went way overboard, I've done ~1g of M1 in a day a few times, and have used 300-500mg+ of adderall 5-10 times. Other than that most of my doses were normal recreational doses, usually under 100mg in a day.

I would imagine that would effect my tolerance, but not nearly as much as it has.

Do you think it's possible that that is my main problem?

Is there anything I can do to help lower my tolerance? I've tried abstinence for many months multiple times, but it didn't seem to help much at all honestly.

yea I would say that going up to a half a gram of adderall would fuck your tolerance up a shit ton. I've never really taken that much in a week much less a day.

Yea I agree.  If you took 500mg of adderall, then anything below it won't compare.

I personally love stimulants.  I used to abuse the shit out of M1(multiple grams in a weekend easily).  But 10-20mg of adderall has me rushing and crazy focused still. 

Sorry man, maybe with a year or two break it might not be like that?  But IDK, if I take a 10mg IR of adderall it still affects me despite massive M1 abuse and lots and lots of MDMA/2c-X.

i take 2.5mg of dexedrine about 1-2x a week when i REALLY have to get shit done. and ive felt a little bit of tolerance build up, but its to the low dosage.

for me i am prescribed 20mg daily, I am supposed to take 10mg in the morning and the other 10 at midday but this has been fucking with my sleep patterns big time. Now i take 15mg morning and 5 at midday, I have however been noticing that these doses are not working as well as when i first started on them again (about 3 or 4 weeks ago now). Read somewhere that there are some supplements that you can take to help bring tolerance down, but you've said you have abstained for quite some time so maybe it is just your body??

either way i try to always have 3 or 4 days off the amps so i don't start feeling burnt out and hollow, fortunately i don't experience overly negative comedowns just a bit of a blandness/melancholy mood at the end of the day.
