Give me a break...  Not one Indian alive is forced to live on a reservation.  They come and go as they please.  I on the other hand am forbidden from living on their reservation without their consent, because of my skin color and ethnicity.

Some people try to come across as enlightened or sensitive about an issue when in fact they are the ones actively contributing to it and are benefiting from the results of said issue.

If someone truly cared about Indian genocide and displacement during the exploration of North America, they should donate all they have to Native Americas to make right for those horrible deeds that some Europeans committed centuries years ago.

Sheekles point, judging from what he said, is that he believes the premise for thanksgiving is hypocritical and that anyone who celebrates it is substandard.

He forgot to include the part of how he is currently benefiting from that "diabolical monstrosity" and will probably sit down on Thursday and eat some turkey.

The post came off as "holier than thou" IMO.
