two of my drawings

i have never posted in this forum before but thought id share some pics of some drawings i did about 1 1/2 yrs ago



the union underground one of my fav bands, and from my home town( i liked before they got on ozzfest)



here is the skull from a cd case of guns and roses.

sorry i just took the pictures of them hanging on my wall so there is some glare. ive got more pics coming soon

those are good man. you should try originals... you got good shading and tones

thx:) im not very good at originals tho i always get an idea and have trouble getting on the paper. but with drawing from pictures its alot easier for me to see what goes where i guess. im going put up my pic of bob marley smoking a fat j that i drew sometime soon also a color picture of rex from pantera thats probly my best work. peace

P.S. look at how deformed that hand is in the first pic. i HATE drawing hands.

draw the skeleton first, joint for joint....I find that help's, then add the 'flesh' around the bone...I don't know if this make's sense to you, but it's defiantly the way to get true form..well for me anyway

those are awesome - don' t be afraid to do more dramatic shading though. you'd be surprised what it can do for a drawing - esp. the skull one. also have a B6 pencil - that'll make it a lot easier for the DARK shading.
