Oh yeah, that would ABSOLUTELY be a sad joke. My bad, you're correct on that. The scary thing is, I think some posters actually do feel that this place somehow determines some sort of social status for themselves, or at least acts as a place of refuge from society, however, the latter I completely understand and I do the same. I just love these forums for no reason other than there are some funny people on here, I get a lot of laughs, I've gotten great advice and it's just fun in general.

I think the shroomery has actually helped me become a more understand ing person quite frankly.

I'm a fucking genius actually, but thanks. Intelligence and self awareness are far from the same thing. I know plenty of ludicrously sharp academics who have no capacity to examine themselves. Unfortunately, some of them are psychologists.

And I agree, they are different, I was genuinely calling you intelligent. That isn't to say you aren't self aware, I'm just pointing out that your intelligence has always stood out to me in a strong way.
