i find the pub quite a deal similar to how i found school,

my school crew and i were a merry band of chess club badasses,

i remember we once talked of setting off the fire alarm, we never did but the talk alone was so intense that Mally, the
BBC basic enthusiasts fainted and had to by wafted back to consciousness with a 5.25inch floppy.

oregons trail, number crunchers, etc

I remember using those from grade 4 to 7.  In grade 7, the elementary school got one "new" computer with the small hard floppy disk.  it was in the library

speaking of chess...I love the game!  you still play?

we have a chess thread in the pub where we all set up games on lichess.org

yeh i like chess, i'm mega basic at it but enjoy the challenge.

i start giving intense lengthy backstorys to my pawns and get distraught when the're take.
