No.  There are a lot of reasons why.  For instance Chinese currency manipulation.  And then there is their manipulation of the rare earths market.  Just two easy peasy things off the top of my head.

The thing about being a business partner with the US is you are partners with citizens and companies individually and not a central government that runs everything which is what you have in China.  Try suing the Chinese government in a Chinese court.  :lolsy:

Well, the Senate is going to try and save Mary Landrieu so they are going to have a vote on XL Keystone next week and get it over to the President so he can promptly veto the bill.  Mary promised a majority in the Senate that could override his veto.

She can do no such thing.  Her opponent will vote for it, too.  After all, he sponsored it in the House.

No, I think that, this time, Mary is going down for good.  She voted for Obamacare and now she has to pay the price for that decision.  She's a twat and cheap opportunist.

What? Checks and balances yo.

No branch of the government is supposed to trump the other consistently.

Though this isn't always necessarily the case.

Its interesting though - because there is enough money involved in this that is likely being passed around to various congressmen that people aren't voting directly on party lines for once. In the past 6 years its been a state of no-read bills, vote with party all around the board. So they must have read the black letters, or their bank accounts on this one :lolsy:

The United States is not a democracy, it's a democratic republic. Plus, the power of the veto is in our constitution.
