A beanbag lounge area, food and table area, a wii or ps3.

I would even hook up with extra amounts or new snack ideas.

I want a safe and family friendly vibe yo.

Just want to help out the up and coming stoner generations.
Not in it for profit. My workers will make at most what i can pay, all profit will go keeping the place running, and then my workers and i share the rest equally.

making cheapo food that one can pay less to do for his or her self at home, isn't a very viable business model.

munchies themed? why not just "stoner themed"? nothing's wrong with stoner's wanting real good food.

maybe just good food, meets stoner friendly environment, and lounge; X the munchies aspect.

Stoner culture for the most part will die out with legalization.

Having a simple snack-food based restaurant w/ a stoner theme doesn't sound like a good idea.




Not saying you can't make a cool restaurant if your put a lot of thought & work into it though.

That's a great idea OP.

It's actually been done already and they were very successful at first, but have since closed down. I think it was a mix of bad location (sketchy neighborhood), mediocre food, and nothing really "stoner" about it except the names for food items on the menu and the name itself of the restaurant. "Munchies"

When it came down to it, it was just a glorified pizza and wings place marketing to stoners.

I do like your ideas though, and I think if done the right way it can become a very successful eatery in time.

My question to you is if you have any experience in the restaurant industry? It's one of the hardest businesses, if not the hardest, to keep afloat in the US.

Be prepared to spend a lot of money, ridiculous hours, and not cutting yourself a check for at least a year if you're lucky.

Oh and as far as menu suggestions go, I just read you don't wanna deal with pizza. I mean, that's the tried and true stoner food across the country. So you might wanna reconsider that. Just my opinion. :shrug:

Edit: The original one I was talking about is actually still open and called Munchies 420 Cafe. Apparently it was featured on one of those food network shows and doing really well.
