Help me. Fake entry stamps to escape bureaucratic loophole
    #20822340 -

The Short:
I'm stuck in a bureaucratic loophole that has trapped me in Country X (of which I'm a citizen of) for the foreseeable year. I NEED to get back to the US within the month and the legal process that will allow me travel again will take at least 4-6months; time that I cannot afford to spend. I think I've figured out a way to escape it. I need to fake an Entry stamp.

Anyone out there can point me in the right direction concerning information or advice? Are there any other options i.e. would renewing my US passport work as some people have suggested to me? Some people have even suggested as far as jumping the border to a neighboring country and fly to the US from there. Would that work?

Notes:
1) I was born and raised in the US.
2) I'm only a citizen of Country X because my father was born and raised there. I could turn down the citizenship but that legal process takes at least 3 months.
3) Country X is a third-world country. Let's not compare it's airport security with that of the United States or Europe.
4) I need to fake JUST THE STAMP...not the VISA.

Options Considered:
1) Fake entry stamp ONLY, NOT visa sticker
2) Renew US passport
3) Jump border to neighboring country and fly from there

-------------------------------

The Long:
I'm a dual citizen. Which means that I carry two citizenships: One American, the other I'll call X. I was born and raised in the US. When I came to Country X, I stayed for 6+ months to make some easy money teaching English. Given my financial situation in the US, I decided to come to Country X to make some cash I could actually keep in my pocket without having to spend the majority of it on living expenses. Country X's living expenses are very little and affordable.

Anyways, when it was finally time for me to come home, I got sent from the customs window to the security office where they told me that because I have overstayed the 6 month period, I needed a certificate from the Military Offices of Country X that states that I'm not eligible for conscription (forced military duty) and, therefore, have a right to travel.

I calmly explained to them that EVEN IF I WANTED to join their ranks in their military, they wouldn't allow me because my birth certificate states that I was born in the United States. Therefore, "please, just let the legality slide because you and I both know that I'll end up being able to travel anyway". Being the hard heads that they are (Country X's population consists solely of hard heads), they told me that that was the rules and that that's what was needed for me to travel.

I decided to go ahead with it on the basis/assumption that the process would take 1 month max. Fast forward 4-5months later and I've come to find out that my papers have to go through ANOTHER process that could take another 4 months to a year. FUCK THAT!!!

Now that I've explained my situation, here's what I'm looking for:
When I was at the customs window, the "kind" lady flipped through the pages of my US passport to look for an Arrival stamp that was within the 6 month period. Even after flipping to no avail, she hovered her stamp over my passport ready to stamp it. She ALMOST did until a second thought came to her and she directed me to the security office.

My guess is that if she had found that arrival stamp, I would've already been on my way home. But she didn't. So I'm thinking, to escape this bureaucratic nightmare of loophole, why not forge a fake arrival stamp within the 6 month period?

Is this possible and would it work? Are there any other options besides faking an entry stamp? Someone mentioned to me that if I just renew my US passport, the customs patrol would have to take my word for it that I've been here for less than 6 months. Plus, there would be nothing on my US passport that would indicate me being a citizen of Country X (my current US passport does). Keep in mind that Country X has been through some political turmoil so its citizen aren't running things "by the book". What I'm trying to say is....don't estimate Country X's Customs as you would the United States or Europe. Country X is a third-world country.

Would jumping the border to a neighboring country and then flying from there work? Basically I just need to get the hell out of here....

You said that you were born in the US. A US citizen cannot be denied entry...period. I think there is more to the story than you're saying

I never said I was denied entry to the US. I said I was denied LEAVING Country X because of the bureaucratic loophole: Because I carry the citizenship of Country X, all male citizens have to be conscripted for mandatory military duty. However, I'm not inherently eligible because I was born and raised IN THE US. That's why they're not after my ass to join their ranks. However, when it comes to LEAVING Country X, they want to know my conscription situation i.e. am I eligible or not? Do you really think male citizens of Country X WANT to join their military?! This whole "what's-your-conscription-situation-before-travelling" is to prevent male citizens of Country X from escaping their mandatory military duty. The US has nothing to do with this.

My problem is PROVING to the asshole at the customs office that I'M LEGALLY ALLOWED to travel and leave Country X. Although, they understand that because the FUCKING US PASSPORT is staring at them dead in the face, they want an official document from Country X stating that I'm allowed to leave Country X because I'm not eligible for military service.

That legal process has eaten way months of my life already and when I thought it was all over, up pops another legal process out of the blue that's set to keep me here for at least a 3rd of the year. All this to satisfy some douchebag at the airport.

Sure, if I had all the time in the world, this wouldn't be a problem for me. But I don't have all the time in the world...that's why I'm asking....

I have no answers, Just curious.

So basically you want to dodge the draft. Not that I'm against that or hold it against you, I don't think anyone should have to fight for a country just because they live there. If the US started drafting again, I'd be leaving too.. I'm not fighting a war I don't believe in.

If you're not in a hurry to leave before you're discovered, then why are you in a hurry if you don't mind me asking. I'm just curious.

I think you should talk to a lawyer.  They are good at fixing problems like this.

Renew your passport. I'm assuming this country is probably a hell country as i call it, 3rd world and war torn. don't answer that though.
So do yourself a favor and leave. if renewing your passport doesn't work. Leg it!

I don't think faking an entry stamp would be what you want to do, unless you plan on never returning to that country.

I have some friends in South Korea, and hear about US born kids being stuck in customs because they never figured that situation out.

Good luck, but I'd try to do it legally, if I were you.
