When walking down a dirt road in the mountains of NH with two friends, we heard a bunch of loud chirping sounds.

My friend and I look at each other and proclaim that it sounds like a huge flock of turkeys.
this is a common site up in NH.


As we draw closer we noticed that it didn't sound quite right to be turkeys.

We come up to a power line crossing where water had pooled from all the melting snow.

We look down and see, what looked like thousands of baby frogs piled on each other chirping like mad.

Then the girl that was with us asked "those are turkey's?"

Not much better than that though, was something someone said during class in the 5th grade. Granted it was the 5th grade, but when the words, "What's a monkey" came out of a boy in my class' mouth, I nearly pissed myself.
