wont let me log in from main area...

So i normally click on the recent post from main page...then log into area on top left...wont let me log in from that area...have to use the little login one that pops up in the middle of thread once you click on a thread... hope you understand what i'm saying....:jah:

That just happened to me too. I couldn't sign in from the main page I had to go into a forum and sign in.

Hello guys.

If this login problem happens again, could you try making sure your browser is set to accept cookies from www.shroomery.org ?

After you try logging in, look for a cookie from this site called w3t_myid and see if it's set to your user ID number.

I think i found that cookie but dont see any name after it....doesnt matter if cookies are allowed or not still wont let you log in....:jah:

It's still doing it, tried to login too many times to count and couldn't. Just gave up for a while, came back, and still didn't work. Just tried a bunch more times and it finally worked on the time I was gonna give up.

same thing for me. i login 8 times and it finally works. also after it logs me in the cookie is present. this has been happening for 3 days.

It just doesn't login is all. I don't think there's anything you'll learn from a screenshot. I don't even recall an error message or prompt or anything like that.

yes the one that you click and it expands. it will work after 10 attempts.

Yes, I thought so. I kept trying both, but it was the same thing for me either way earlier in the day. I don't think I had any problems logging in just a bit ago though, actually. I'll report back if I continue to notice it.

It's doing it for me too, I've been using the login link in the "Welcome to the Shroomery message board..." message that appears towards the top of the main page.

I can only log in if I aim the browser at a thread and then use the login box. from the start page the login does not work at all

2nd that now even with login it only shows my settings and messages when im clicked on a specific forum. if im on the forum main page its like im not logged in when i know i am.
