New Monsoon anyone?

Anyone heard of them? They are pretty damn awesome, some of their songs I am not the biggest fan of lyric wise but they have some ones I really like as well not to mention pretty great covers. Two things that stand out about them for me is their awesome percussionist and lead guitar player. Their keys player is great too, pretty damn rockin stuff.

That first song really highlights there percussionist and keys player, here is one that is really electric guitar oriented:

Is it just me or was there an Amanita on the screen around the 1:20 mark? Looked like a huge muscaria cap to me :lol: If so that's extra bonus points for them

Haven't seen them in about 10 years or so, but I remember them putting on some pretty wild shows. I remember one in particular with Travis & Kang from SCI sitting in, and one of the Monsoon playing a balloon in the middle of the jam. He blew it up, then slowly released air into the microphone, making these crazy sounds. Then he let it go, and it was like a deck of cards being spread out as far as the trails went. I'd indulged that night. :smile:

From what I have heard and listened to they only got better and tighter with age, that sounds like a great show though!
