i just built a laser-bong
    #2074108 -

it took about 9 hours over two days. while my first bong, it holds water and has a working laser in it. looks pretty cool in the dark.


the finished bong. the laser beam travels up the main chamber. so when it has a bunch of smoke in it, you can see the beam. made a wedge switch on the back to turn the laser on and off.


closeup of bong. all the smoke goes through the two clear tubes into the main chamber. the wooden support below the main chamber is what holds the laser pointer.


the bong with the laser on and smoke in the chamber. in the picture the beam looks bright yellow at the base, i don't know why it did that. stupid digital camera. in real life it looks all bright red.

Very cool.. Id also like to hear your material list.. Cause i dont think ur supposed to smoke outta copper. sombody told me it makes ur balls fall off, i dotn think it does but i dont think its good either

That's an awesome concept...

Except... while, when you put your mouth over the bong, it's very possible to accidently point the laser in your eye... which can be harmful... unless I'm just not understanding how the laser works.

Other than that, good job :thumbup:

the ocisanial exposure to laser light isent that bad.... hell one time i got a YAG laser in my eye witch is ALOT ALOT ALOT more powerful then a laser pointer and i can see fine out of my remaing eye...hahaha jk my eyes are fine....jsut dont stare into it for like 10 mins or something

glad you like it. always cool when something turns out good. pics of the things you made?

to construct it i used, mason jar, clay, plastic tube, rubber tube, wood rod, water pipe & screen, and glue. to make it look pretty, i painted it, glued shit to it, and put in a laser pointer.

is that thing about copper true? shroomery have any info on this? perhaps erowid? ...i don't need my balls falling off.

to turn the laser on and off, on the back there are two holes in the wood that houses the laser pointer. the bottom hole doesn't do anything but hold the peg when the laser is off. the top hole is where you would wedge the peg to turn on the laser. the peg is tapered and will stick in the hole until you pull it out.

heh, i don't find the laser in the eye thing a bit issue... but like they said, so long as you don't stare...
