I always knew that millenials were ignorant, but I can't believe that I just had to explain that a black and white photo isn't a color picture of a grey person.

Maybe you are right about the avatar.  I just am so convinced that the avatar looks like a 'teenage Chucky mugshot' that that is all that comes to mind when I look at the avatar.

Also, imagining that I'm racist for selecting the avatar that I did is a serious feat of mental gymnastics.  However, you went loony over the very notion that someone might see your avatar as a person of African or Indian descent.  And that's pretty racist.

I'm not good at discerning sarcasm, so I can't tell if you were / are being sarcastic (about 'my testimonial being convincing'), but, as far as 'unsubstantiated' goes, I don't believe that to be the case (I simply don't see any of Burke's above posts / replies as being racist posts / replies).  However -- that may just be my opinion.  Still, I trust my fiancé with my life, and so I don't doubt his word about Burke not being racist.

I don't see how any of that can be interpreted as racist. If anything you were being racist by assuming his race. He probably has a rich cultural history that you just completely ignored by your brash assumptions.

You appear to be a racist because of how upset you are to have it pointed out that you have a black man as your avatar.  I've never seen someone so butthurt to find out that they and their avatar are an inter-racial couple, but here you are.
