'Shopping' does not mean you have to pay for it  (as shown in the quoted, bold / italics quote above) -- you can go 'shopping' with a gift card (which -- so long as you got the gift card as a present -- can still be considered 'shopping for free').  And -- the term 'shopping spree' itself means either: doing quite a bit of shopping with your own money -- or -- doing quite a bit of shopping with a gift-card.  So -- you can go on a 'shopping spree' so long as you either pay with your own money -- or -- so long as you pay with a gift-card that you received as a present (which would still be considered a 'shopping spree' by definition.)

However, you can't go 'shopping' for prescription drugs without a prescription (but: if you DO have a prescription for the drugs and can use a gift-card given to you as a present to buy the prescription drugs, THEN you can consider it 'shopping' to get prescription drugs). 

Therefore, what I said was accurate.

It's not. If you're claiming that loading your cart up with prescription pills is stealing, than so is loading it up with anything else.

Why are you accusing people of picking prescription pills to take of stealing?

After reading your last response, I took another look at the original post to see if I missed something and / or misunderstood it.

The original post DOES say 'anything you can fit in the cart you can keep free', so, I guess that could mean that -- as with non-pharmacy Walmart merchandise -- you can even put prescription drugs in your cart and keep them free.  However, it could also mean what I said in my previous post / reply -- that it is not legitimate to load up on prescription drugs during the 'shopping spree', because there is quite a difference between picking clothing off the racks for the shopping spree and having to jump over the counter in the pharmacy to get the drugs (or having to ask and -- likely -- be forced to threaten the pharmacy employees to get the drugs off the shelves for you).

I think the original poster in this thread needs to reply to one or both of us and give his / her (?) declaration of whether an individual on the shopping spree can -- or can't -- get prescription-only, controlled substances as part of the shopping spree.

That's what I think, anyway.

No problem.  The topic doesn't apply to me (and never will, either, seeing as there are no prescription pills that I want -- and/or would ever want -- from a pharmacy, due to having become sober of prescription opiates / opioids and all other prescription drugs that I am not prescribed for 2.5 years now and having lost my cravings for such drugs pretty much entirely).  The only one prescription pill that I take every day is Vyvanse (I am prescribed it legitimately -- meaning, the drug is prescribed to me for a legitimate reason and is taken at a pretty low dose once daily without me ever abusing it or even wanting to abuse it and it has a 100% efficacy when it comes to how it helps my condition).

So -- once again -- the topic doesn't apply to me at all (and you are no longer interested in discussing the topic) so I am not offended or bothered.
