Who would be down to invest money for land in colorado?

Say 200 committed shroomerites were willing to invest $1000 in land.

Thats $200,000!

We could start a "Cult"


A Pot farming cult at that!

Along that road more money would obviously be needed for housing, water, electricity, etc. And possibly a good lawyer to weed out the possibility of anybody trying to take advantage of the situation.

Im just trying to start what i see could be an interesting topic.

Hypothetically speaking, I don't think $200,000 would be enough to cover the space to hold 100 people AND pot plants alike. How would ownership be divided. You can't get 100 people who invested in a land share to agree on how to run such a cult.

Although, if it was all divided up into borders (really tiny ones) it could make for the greatest game of Risk ever.

Reddit actually tried buying their own island, but it never happened because of the high costs since islands need their own infrastructure.

A ranch would be much more feasible. Land is actually pretty cheap in the more remote parts of Colorado. We could get a 100 acres or so and build something nice.

Also 200 x $2000 = 400,000

Well I've seen some good deals on land. I saw 35 acres for sale somewhere in colorado for about $40,000.

Thats a lot of land believe it or not. So I'm assuming there are better deals (more land) out there at even better prices (Cost per acre). Like buying in bulk.

Then again I've seen less than 5 acres selling for more than $100,000.

Land and soil type I'm sure also play a big role, as well as location.

The whole cult thing could be dropped too. The investment being in the land itself.

If a pot farm were to be started then obviously everybody who invested in the land would get a share of the pot business' total profit.

Along with a share of the land..?

I don't know. I like to think

Thats what I'm saying. 100 acres is a good amount of land for a lot of people.

Build a shipping container community. Containers can be had for around $2500.

Build devices that could give us free energy via the sun and/or wind.

these things always seem like a good idea when u are thinking about it but once it's done and you have a bunch of dirty hippies all living in the same compound, that's twice the drugs, twice the drama, people will be fighting for who gets what and pretty much most hippies are hypocrites anyway, twis why most of us are hermits, we need our space because our space is vast.
