I speak from inexperience, I have never had the pleasure of tripping at a restaurant. I'd have a lot of fun watching the humans eat and communicate like animals in a zoo though.

Many, many times tripping on acid I've had in n out and most times a double double looks and taste AMAZING. The funniest part is sitting through the long ass drive through. Some of the funniest conversations I've had on acid were in the in n out drive through.
The funny thing is we NEVER go there unless we're tripping.

One time we were going to see the hobbit tripping balls but in the parking lot we were talking about it and it would've been very expensive. Plus my buddy Jimmy wanted to bring the pipe and weed and the movie theater and my other friend was getting paranoid of a rent a cop walking around. So we said fuck it and went to in n out. Then when we got there we were all starving because we had been hiking all day but Jimmy starts to get pissed cuz he wanted to see the hobbit. I told him I'd buy him the book and we'd share it. It was so random and hilarious. You might've had to be there. Our designated driver was cracking up and said we were having such a pure psychedelic time that he felt  a bit like he was on a higher level also.
That was December 21st 2012. If the world ended that night it would've been just fine. We were on the highest dose of the purest acid I've ever had with 4 lifelong friends on the same level.

I love cooking but I hate cleaning, when it comes to cleaning I get OFF. I have to wash each pan 5 or 6 times before I deem it clean.

I like going to restaurants sometimes (so long as it's a restaurant I really like).

I like 'Tony Roma's' when I feel like having a full-slab of baby-back ribs (they have the best ribs and the best sauce for the ribs of absolutely any -- and all -- restaurants / places that sell ribs).

I like 'Octopus' when I want good local sushi for good prices.  If -- on the other hand -- I have a ton of money to splurge with (and one or more people to go with me) and we are willing to travel about an hour away from my home, 'Nobu' has the absolute best sushi of any sushi restaurant anywhere.

'Maria's Italian Kitchen' has the best pizza of any restaurant near me, but they don't deliver, so it's a 'restaurant-or-nothing' deal.

Aside from those four places, there are no other restaurants that I like / love that come to mind.

I've always loved eating in restaurants. I eat dinner at a restaurant pretty much every night. Usually eat at restaurants for lunch on my days off too. Maybe you just don't have any good restaurants where you live.

Restaurants are great. I eat out basically every day. Some things I just can't make at home without spending way too much money on ingredients and time cooking and cleaning. Like thai food, for example. That takes a lot of stuff that's not in my kitchen, and honestly, it's cheaper to get somebody to make it for you at a restaurant than it is to buy the stuff to make it yourself, and probably tastes a lot better too.

On the other hand if I want a good steak I'll bbq that up myself rather than paying top dollar at a steakhouse or whatever.

Usually gotta eat out if you want good sushi, though one of the natural foods chains around here actually has some bomb rolls made on site. Mexican food is pretty easy to do at home but it's a huge mess and the mexican food situation here in southern california is pretty sweet... If you could call grabbing a burrito from a taco shop at lunch eating at a restaurant

i travel a shitton for work so i eat out a lot,
i quite like it however, as i often have to do it a lot, i preferr to hit them off-hours.

as like have lunch and dinner rather early than late, so not many people are there yet as i am not
too keen on all the "oh my he must be such a loner" looks

still though, at home, with my girl, we tend to drop a proper shilling on eating out,
food is like my hobby i guess

Going out with family or with some friends, depending on the place I'm pretty much silent the entire time wondering how everyone else can actually hear and talk with each other.

Haha been there a few times myself

Although it's typically not so much "wondering how everyone can hear each other" it's more like not being able to follow the flow of conversation because I can't relate to it. I remember one time I went out to eat with a friend who brought one of his friends along, and the whole time they just talked about some shit I had no idea about.

I love eating out.
It's always adventure
potential to discover your new favorite dish
or try variations on your current favorite dish
It's a good break from the norm
whether your norm is cooking, cleaning or
ordering takeout.

You can practice socializing
it makes a late night more special
and becoming a regular at an outlet is something special
Only the most introverted or socially stunted prolly do not like eating out
otherwise,
unless you are SUPER NITPICKY
what is not to love?

I like restuarants as long as someone else is paying. I hate paying for things I can make myself for a fraction of the costs.

Also you eat very little cause you are going out later and then you get so hungry you eat the entire breadbasket and are basically full after the starter dish.

I forgot,
I also have that GENERAL rule
where if I can make it
I won't order it
but I did have bomb lasagna at Lübeck
that was way better than I could make.
from my experience
a restaurant should serve you more than you can eat.

I'll go out to breakfast buffets sometimes on Sundays. They're pretty good out here. I don't want to be stuck doing dishes when I can have omelettes made to order with stacks of 'cakes and delicious bacon.

I keep it down to twice a week cause shit will start adding up, in cash and calories

Going out to eat is one of my favorite things to do. I live in Charlotte, NC and there are a lot of rich folk in these areas so there are lots of places with really nice decorating/views. Maybe if I went out to eat all the time I'd get tired of it, but as of now it's a nice change of pace. Charlotte has some of the best culinary I've ever came across
