eating at restaurants
    #20671713 -

I'm not much of a fan of eating at restaurants. Maybe if I was drunk and with a group of like 6 friends or something.

I remember a few times eating at restaurants while I was on acid, it was weird.

But yeah, generally speaking despite how good the food often is I'd rather just eat at home or something. Maybe it's just a social anxiety thing.

Do you like going out to eat?

Yes but I think the reason you don't enjoy them is because restaurants are not a great place to be high on acid. I wouldn't even want to eat anything. I would definitely ask for the kids menu so I can get crayons and enjoy those little activities on them.

Not really. Special occasions, dates, that's about it. It's expensive to eat food that I couldn't or wouldn't make at home. I've only actually eaten in a restaurant maybe 2 or 3 times in the last few years. I've only had one good, memorable time at a restaurant, and that was only because I got all wasted and when we went back to someone's place she gave me a handjob while her boyfriend showed everyone their place. :burke:

I'd never want to go on a date at a restaurant, that would be the worst thing ever

I love going out to eat, the best food I've ever had has come from restaurants all over. That being said often it's needlessly expensive and to much work. Especially after a long day of work, you wanna pick the food up and eat it while you watch your favorite show.

I speak from inexperience, I have never had the pleasure of tripping at a restaurant. I'd have a lot of fun watching the humans eat and communicate like animals in a zoo though.

She had already been my girlfriend for a while before we went to an actual restaurant to eat so it wasn't too bad. Someone I don't know well would be weird though. Too many people around, and I like to talk about weird things. Bad enough I would have to get a handle on the type of person I'm sitting across from.

I remember one time smoking with a few friends and then going out to Applebee's for a night of drinking, and it was so busy it was bothering us all. We couldn't relax without someone walking by brushing someone's shoulders. To make matters worse, the black manager working who was cleaning tables around us, was singing Kings of Leon "Use Somebody" in the same high pitched voice for the certain parts. But then the chicken tenders came and it was all good.

Sheekle have you ever tried eating a chick out? You're very disgusted by it, but have you ever tried it? It's marvelous.

I'm not a big fan of going out to eat either, mostly because I find a lot of restaurants to be noisey and have a lot of things going on, it's like sensory overload for me sometimes. It's hard to converse with who ever I'm there with.

Going out with family or with some friends, depending on the place I'm pretty much silent the entire time wondering how everyone else can actually hear and talk with each other.

Depends on the place though....I love sushi, most sushi places I go to are chill. And going out with a friend to a local place to have a burger and a beer is nice from time to time. Those are just about the only places & times I enjoy going out.

I dig local places over chain/big restaurants....Chain restaurants like Chile's, Outback, etc are way overpriced for mediocre food, and those are typically the most noisey & hectic places anyways.

Haha been there a few times myself

Although it's typically not so much "wondering how everyone can hear each other" it's more like not being able to follow the flow of conversation because I can't relate to it. I remember one time I went out to eat with a friend who brought one of his friends along, and the whole time they just talked about some shit I had no idea about.

Yea there's definitely been that aspect for me as well, for surely :yesnod:. Mostly when it comes to family. A while back I went out to eat with my dad and a few of my cousins and their friends. I can't relate to any of the conversations they have, most of which is about their line of work .
