Yes I do somewhat

If your looking to invest in a expensive but good quality, go for a dslr,I'm prefer cannon or nikon.
Look for a  cannon t3, t3i,bi was going to buy a t3 but spent money on a new flatscreen instead.. On Amazon they have perfect startup kits with everything from lenses to stands and so on..  these are usually in the range of 18 to 25 mp and up.. Anywhere from 400-1000 depending on attachments.. Either way, get a lens with it otherwise you'll be paying waaay more for one after market.. Dslrs Are expensive and require time to learn but take waaay better pictures.. Nikon models:

If your looking for point and shoot, there is PLENTY of options.. I was lost king to get a Nikon "Coolpix" 16 -23 mp.. Some are very nice and worth it..the coolpix model has the feel and weight of a more expensive camera with point and shoot characteristics,

If your not familiar with cameras I'd go with a point and shoot. Then work your way up to a dslr.


Now I'm no professional by no means but from my precious research, that's what I know:)

The cool pix is affordable and easy to use, i recomend it. If your state doesn't have sales tax through Amazon, try them before a Walmart or something.. Price shop big time. With cameras, one store could have the same models marked up bigtime, some are very reasonable, also never buy a refurbished camera unless you want to pay for someone else's problems. Don't go to a camera store or their mark ups will be ridiculous..
