Kind of funny, but not really... I looked him up on Facebook for some reason and saw we had a few mutual friends. Turns out some buddies of mine went to college with Mr Danger Brown.

So, that makes me like sort of famous, right?

In all seriousness, I'm happy to see people not taking life so fucking seriously.

I saw this yesterday.
It's kind of annoying - the money could be put to SO much better use. People will happily donate $2.00 to some shitty potato salad thing, but not to a charity or to help out local in-need people.

Yeah, seeing the things that are actually successful on Kickstarter compared to the ones that fail to raise even 100 is pretty depressing.

Maybe we should start making Kickstarter campaigns that are seemingly for absolutely stupid shit that the internet cares about ("I'M TRYING TO BREED THE CUTEST CAT IN THE WORLD!") and just give the money to charity.

Some nerds doing retro gaming speed runs raised over a million for a cancer charity. Victory.
