yeah mushrooms can come off in clusters when the mycelium there is weak, happens when I'm picking in the woods all the time

All those except the biggest one look like they had started to abort so I'd say you have some issue going on, most likely too dry since you said they felt it. Maybe sit the cake they came from in a saucer of water if it still has mushrooms going or dunk it if not...if it's dry that is, pick it up and it should feel a little hefty if it seems light give it water

Don't lose hope! you've got a whole lifetime for this hobby :wink:

It's tricky to harvest those clusters sometimes. What cronicr said. Grab your official shroomin kitchen knife, and rub it down with alc or flame it, and cut from the base to keep the lil ones in place

You can also salvage that cluster on the off chance you have agar, it can make a fine clone.

As per dryness, all ya need to do think about your growth variables, namely moisture balance and RH.

There's a balance between fae and moisture. you just need to shift it. It's clear that from the split cap your fae is adequate

And for moisture

Are you misting enough?
Is the perlite consistently moist?
Did you dunk?
Did you double-end case?
