my procedure

My freiinds has let the grains soak for about 14 hours in a sock he will let them drip dry for another 12 houors he is using saflower seed popcorn kernels and sunflower seed . how does this combnation sound to you guys and is that the correct way to do it to get the right moi content

Not too much substrate can fit into a sock. And why not keep it one substrate?

He thinks the sunflower and the saflower may have to much fat and stunt mycelium growth and for the reason he put it in a sock is he is really not doing a big grow operation. NO tuuntill he gets his methods down pat. he can do the pf tek no problem but the fruits just arent that potent do you think the grains will help out on that one
