not a damn thing, and that's the other problem. as rebellious as i may sound i am probably the most respectable person towards cops on this thread.. figure of speech, it means i am very respectable and never show them attitude. but i do however speak up in a polite manner when our interaction is unjust, and even then i am hesitant to express my opinion. i know it, they know it.

this isn't a game patlal, this isn't canada, this is real life, this is what goes on, you are so conformed that you still think most police are out there doing their job and are there to serve and protect you, which is not very correct, they are there to serve your ass with a plate of fines. "it's just business", as i once proclaimed to a cop.

Do you "look" like criminal by any chance? (long hair, tattoos, ghetto clothes, sideway cap etc)

Last time I checked, Canada was the real world. Ottawa is also notorious for violent cops. But it most definitely doesn't happen as frequently.

Why are the cops so violent in the US? (I have my theory)

But yeah, why ?

I don't get why people call cops "sir" and address them as superiors. They are not superiors. Whenever I talk to cops I talk to them like I'm talking to any person. They get off on that  snivelling pathetic subservient attitude people give them when people address them with respect like theyve earned it.

theyre fucking scum. i've noticed a couple of times in some heated situations cops are sometimes taken a little aback when i've just started talking to them like I was talking to any other dipshit. i cringe when people go all "yes sir, no sir" on them. it's fucking pathetic.

I've never been beaten by cops, but then again I never would really try to antagonize them.  I've met my share of dick cops but most of the time I knew they were just going to break my balls and leave.  Cops as a general rule dont like thug wannabe hard ass little kids.  You act like that and they'll want to show you how you're not shit.

I think it helps that I'm white, relatively well spoken, and not scummy looking.

This, as sad as it sounds, is true. I don't fear them or worry about them as much as say a Hispanic male or whatever. Even Cops that are not Caucasian tend to point out and harass their own race and such. 

The times I've been harassed I've said "I'm sorry I respectfully decline to answer any questions." In response they ask more questions. I might answer simple ones with yes or no. But I usually don't give them anything if I am simply walking down the street at 6pm with the sun out,headphones in, flip-flops,shorts and a t shirt on just doing what i said, walking. Some have asked for my ID and I say You know I dont have to do that, I haven't committed a crime have I? They answer no, I respond with So I'm free to go. Thanks.

Just simple harassment, I don't give in to they're bullying or threatening tactics.

Most american cops are impatient and act like you are the problem from get go.

Like obese black women. That is a generalization but not racist in the least. Ok it is, I know some obese black women who are very intelligent and sweet.

I'm thinking more of the type of person who works for TSA, DMV that typa thing.

It's probably government jobs that breed laziness and childishness.

Only reason I keep my mouth shit is because I don't feel like going to jail, but the whole suck up "sir" thing, nope, not going to happen.

They aren't above anybody, if anything, they're below us because they are "supposed" to be serving us, not the other way around. My cousin is a Cop, go figure. We were polar opposites growing up, he never drank, never did drugs, was always well behaved in school and just went along with the way of the world. I was the total opposite. As really young kids we were close though, but nothing matters in those days. Now he sees me and probably wishes I wasn't his cousin so he can arrest me. He probably knows I have plenty of drugs in my room but he isn't going to do shit. I mean, he's nice to me, but probably because he has to be. Oh well, don't give a shit.

God help me if I ever stooped low enough to become a Cop. What a miserable piece of shit you must have to be, my God.

Here's another , one time when I was 16 I stayed home from school because my grandma was really sick in the hospital. a couple days before I had let a friend borrow a pair of jeans he was supposed to take them to school that day I missed. I wanted to get my pants from him before I took off to the hospital so I called in to school and Asked the secretary if I can go to school really quick to pick up my pants before I went to the hospital (she already knew why I was absent that day) she said yeah . So I walked to school met my friend he gave me back my pants I went to the office to let the secretary know and she wished my grandmother well I took off walking back home I'm trying to walk fast because I don't want to make my mom wait I want to be ready by the time she came to pick me up. Half way home this fuckin faggot pig pulls me over he asked why I was running from him and why I'm not at school I tell him I'm not running from you I'm running home I'm not in school because I'm gonna see my grams in the hospital . I said it with the utmost respect and sincerity Well this fucker thinks I'm lying. He calls me a liar pushes me against his car searches me throws my clean pants in the dirt stepping all on them while he searches me grabbing my nuts and shit handcuffs me and puts me in the cop car he gets in and says he's taking me back to school to the office I start laughing at him and telling him he's gonna look like a jack ass when he does because I just came from the office he still thinks I'm a liar . Now I'm pissed cause my pants are all dirty and he's wasting my time so I'm calling him a dumb fuckin pig and a faggot pedophile for taking extra special time on my nut sack. I could tell he's getting pissed at me it makes me feel good cause he pissed me off. He takes me into the office in handcuffs, uncuffs me and the secretary asked what was it that I had done . The cop says that I was caught ditching and the secretary says he just left from here he already has an excused absence for today his grandma is sick in the hospital that I just came back to get my pants . I saw the look on his face like he felt like a jack ass  I started laughing and said I told you you fucking jack ass . He gets pissed and grabs me real hard by my arm and pushes me against the wall with my arm behind my back and says you need to learn some respect . I twist away and while he tries to hold on to my arm I got my leg in front and he trips over my leg falls down and everybody in the office starts laughing at him . I said you need to learn some respect bitch. Even the secretary laughed . He got up put the hand cuffs back on me and took me to the police department . He made my mom go pick me up there when my mom got there she started yelling at the cop because he had no right to do this and I think he felt embarrassed cause he didn't want to say why he took me to the pd he told her he wanted to make sure my story was true that I wasn't ditching . Haha that was my most favorite encounter with the police except for the fondling my nuts part that was really weird . I still till this day think that cop was a pedophile .

I might have already posted this story before, but I'll do it again because it's :lol:

A few years ago I lived in St Kilda, Melb which is known as a pretty heroin-heavy area, although it's trying to be really trendy/bo-ho/upmarket in recent years but the junkies and hookers are still there.

i was walking back to my aptmnt with a buddy one night in the pouring rain, turned up our street and it was all cordoned off by police tape and cars and cops everywhere.

Tried to go around another way but that was sectioned off, I called over to a cop and he came over and said noone could come through because someone had been shot. Turned out a cop had shot & killed a junkie who'd lunged at him with a knife. I said "yeah well I live here and I want to go home" and this female detective comes over and starts asking all these questions like If I knew such-and-such and asked for ID to prove I lived there so they could let me through the 'scene' or whatever. She was one of those really uptight bitches in immaculate attire and her hair tied back so tight it was pulling at her cheeks, my buddy goes "so what are you like a detective?" and she goes "yes I'm a detective" and he goes "oh cool, how long does it take to become a detective?" and she goes "oh about 8 or 9 years" and then he says "what about for a man?" :lol:

she got so fucking angry it was hilarious you could tell shewanted to beat the piss out of him hahahahaha

All of my interactions with cops have been of a generally positive manner

Except for once in like 8th grade when me and some friends were skateboarding at some hospital and some dude pulls up realllly fast and gets out screaming loud as FUCK at us telling us to not skateboard there anymore
