Jungle/DnB
    #20086814 -

So I've been kinda outta the loop for the past couple years. Can anyone point towards some sets or traks that are relatively new? I'm not a huge fan of dubstep, but I like what Dieselboy does by mixing in DS with some sick rollers. Vapour put out a few good sets a couple of years ago that were pretty tight. I also like some of the darker stuff like old skool Tech Itch. So yea, I appreciate any suggestions. This is not to argue witch is better between dub step and jungle, thanks!

Tech Itch has been putting some stuff out recently that is pretty good:

George Young the Infinite:
(our Florida dnb crew, all originals in here)

Kasra:

Etherwood (super light dnb, but my fav new artist in the genre)

Craig Heneveld Live at Aura:
(more of my Florida crew, super good mix, all butter)

Here is a mix I did yesterday, not dnb, but lots of futurebass / smooth trap - I bet you'll like it if you like dnb:

Aesthetics - Recluse

Let me know what you like and I'd be happy to recommend more stuff.  Can find tracks if you like, but just look at the tracklisting on the mixes.

No one can mix a DnB set like Dieselboy.
He's been going it since 'Nam.

Here's one of his more old school mixtape I've always love.
Perhaps because it appeals to my more nerdier side.

Any ways...

Dieselboy - The Dungeonmaster's Guide

Here are two of my favorites of his newer stuff, unleashed might perhaps be my favorite mix of his...

Dieselboy - Unleashed!

And here is a mixtape made from a set me played here at Beta Night Club in Denver.

Dieselboy - Live at Beta

Hehe, it was nothing big really. I was just rolling balls at a rave in the early 2000s and I accidentally bumped into him and he got all pissed off for no reason. I was like bro, I'm rolling balls I don't wanna fight, but I'll fuck you up if you want, lol. Then his buddies pulled him away. Was really quick. I donno, I know 100s of djs personally, hes the only one who's ever been a prick, except for this deucher who dj'd with daft punk, forgot his name, some french asshole.

Lol i know D, he probably was just pissed off about something that night unless you did something way over the line hahah.  He is pretty reserved at shows but i could easily see how he could lose his cool.

I saw high contrast and turned into a non-sober fanboy a while back but caught myself and was like, ehhh sorry im going to go and leave you alone lol.  I think he was really jetlagged or something.

Yea, I've got all those, thanks for posting SARA! And everyone else..

I agree, I think dieselboy is  up there in the top 5 in world IMHO..

Going to see Gridlok and Calyx and Tebee on the 28th at a venue that was one of the top spots on the East Coast back in the mid to late 90's. I havent been out in about 4 years so I'm super pumped!

This is what I've been cranking lately:

Gridlock and Prolix NeuroFunk Mix

Ed Rush and Optical at Let it Roll 2013

I love this set, get passed the first few minutes and it gets pretty insane!

Planet of the Drums 2013
