Illegal to sell scales?

I was asking around at school today where a few mates aqquired their pocket scales, and one said it was now illegal for post offices to sell the little metal keychain type scales. Is this true? If it is, where should I look to get one that measures in grams, but not on the internet.

tons on ebay...i would spend a few buks more and go digital. just search for pocket scales. besides digi's are cool....and they work better too

If you just want a general idea of if youre buying good bags, a handscale can do fine. You just have to learn to get good with them.

If you want precise measurements, go for digital. Id even get one that goes to hundreths and not tenths. Why give someone a 1.99 when it could be a 1.90 :-P

It is indeed illegal to sell them to weigh out an illegal drug. It is not illegal to sell them to weigh out legal letters, beans, belly button lint, or anything else that isn't an illegal drug.

I dunno about that, A friend of mine was talking about how it is now illegal for smoke shops to sell scales to minors? Is this true?

It's illeagal (and buisiness-endangering) for a head shop to sell anything to a minor. Minors shouldn't even be allowed in head-shops without an adult.

ya the head shop near me ID people at the door ususaly, and hey geeno people like to get hooked up not jipped,

but i assume they could charge you with paraphanalia if they caught you with a scale and illegals, but that wouldnt happen because you will be waying out letters, maybe sand, ya never know what you will have to weigh out, certainly not drugs.

true true, obvioulsy no big deal if it was that minute, i used to know this dude, what a bastard, he'd sell 8ths with the bag weighing out at 3.5, kids never knew they were getting screwed a gram, cant stand douche bags. anyway you can get scales around me at pawn shops fairly priced.

I just bought some scales from www.willknott.com, they read 100 grams with .05 gram accuracy(20th gram) for 42$ including shipping.
