Ah yes, yet another victim to the horrible monster that is excessive fiber consumption. How the majority ov medical professionals(professional =/= expert, mind you) not only fail to see how fiber is the leading cause ov all colorectal ailments, but go so far as to advocate its consumption, is testament to the mass degeneration ov common sense that pervades western thinking.
Your condition is the result ov too much insoluble fiber in combination with amphetamine constipation and over-urination(which depletes pooping essentials like potassium). Not enough dietary fat, which aids colonic motility, may have also been a factor. Your intestinal flora count is also decimated from the laxative induced diarrhea and byproducts ov fiber fermentation.
I sincerely wish you luck in getting back on track with your bowels. Unfortunately, the fiber addicted suffer acute constipation from sudden withdrawal due to acclimation, but i do hope that you can taper your consumption after this lesson. To get through this and back to "normal"(which for most is unfortunately daily #1-3 stool types while ideal is #5- only possible with low fiber diets), i recommend the following:
-Keep with the probiotics but avoid harsh stimulant laxatives. -Lower fiber intake(but not significantly-yet) and only consume soluble fiber. -Eat foods high in potassium. -Do not drink a lot ov water. Water from drinks do not increase stool moisture and too much leads to mineral depleting over-urination. Colonic mucus determines stool moisture and water that is'nt bound to bacteria cells is eliminated. - Eat a high fat meal and try to sense the reflex during the time after eating. A mild laxative like caffeine at the time may help, but not too much due to the diuretic property.
Good luck and remember how you got to this point.
-Lavod
