Choosing a new car. Take 2 * 1
    #20006252 -

This is my second thread asking for your guys's opinion on my new choice in vehicle.
My first thread can be found here.

As explained in that thread, I'm having to commune a lot more now that I have a new job I'm really loving and my my girlfriend is being schooled 1 and a half away.
My everyday car right now is a 2012 VW Golf TDI, I love German cars and VW,
but I have been also recently been getting pressure from my day to get rid of the golf for safely reasons.
And to be honestly I would just really love to have something fun and exciting to drive and beautiful to look at.
I have a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee I recently acquired from one of my best friends for camping and hiking and climbing and such.

I'm only saying this because it came up in the last thread, insurance and gas are the least of my concern.
Same with using the money to invest it instead, not what I'm looking for, no offence.
And as far as money goes, because that seemed to be a big issue for a lot of you last time, my father will be matching half of what ever I contribute.
I will be trading in my golf, I have got quite a lot saved, and I make a decent amount every month with my job as well as rent.

But enough about that, I just felt I needed to include it after the last thread.
I've expanded my options since last last time quite a but, I think I have more or less narrowed it down to these 7 now.
I'm just super lost now, there are so many that I like so much and would just LOVE to own.
Decisions have ALWAYS been so so hard for me...

1) 2015 Jaguar F-Type Coupe V8 R

Those of you that have also read my first thread should remember this one. I have almost been set on getting it for the longest time, I just want to be 100% sure before buying whatever I choose.

2) 2014 Porsche 911 GT3

I would consider this car my second choice and the only thing that makes me say that (opposed to first) is that my girlfriend owns a 2010 Porsche 911 Targa.

3) 2014 Maserati Grandturismo Sport

I'm a little hesitant to get this one, because as much as I love the look of it I like the look of the 2015 Grandturismo more, so as soon as they come out I'll wish I had waited.

4) 2014 Austin Martin V8 Vantage S

Very beautiful and sporty but at the same time I feel like it might seem the most practical for what ever reason out of the 6 coupes I have picked out.

5) 2014 Audi R8 4.2 FSI Coupe Quattro

As for mentioned I love German car and this car is gorgeous as all hell. Not a lot has to be said about it.

6) 2014 Lotus Elise S

These cars so just so great to look at, and not to mention they have a pretty cool name (Lotus) the only bad thing is they are made out of pastic so they might not really be much of a step up as far as safety compared to my golf.

7) 2014 Mercedes_Benz S550

Possibly not being the best to look at out of all of these but being the only sedan out of all of them, I figure it to be the most practical out of all of them.

That's a hell of a nice selection you got there to choose from. Good taste in cars.

If you're looking for a good looking car that's really fun to drive and to look at my first choice would be the Audi R8, followed by the Porsche 911.

The ride is a bit harsh on the Porsches. I wouldn't spend the extra money for the turbo version. The naturally aspirated 911 base model is a hell of a car, and plenty fast.

Audi has a much better ride, and yet corners amazingly. I also think it's the best looking car of the bunch.

If you're looking for comfort though. The Benz is clearly the way to go.

I'd probably get the R8 if I had to choose( and if I had $125,000 to buy a car).

Yea, it's faster in a straight line but plastic quarter panels and bumpers just look and feel cheap. The interior as well. It's complete shit IMO.

I'm over modern American cars. I still love old school muscle cars, but the new shit out there just doesn't match up to anything European.

Nobody gives a fuck, really. Just get whichever one YOU like then make sure to create a thread or two with a good amount of pictures before it gets totaled.

If she has the means to acquire any of the cars in her list she could presumably afford the 2015 Z06 if she can wait a bit :yesnod:

I don't think she wants a Corvette though.

Voted Porsche.

You should probably learn how to spell the name of the cars you want to buy first.

Alright, personal question time for OP

How much do you make per year? What's your net worth? (If you don't mind me asking)

Also,

Maserati hands down... Its by far the best car on that list.

Damn, I did not expect to come back to such a commanding lead by any particular car, but I guess the Audi R8 does make since as a forerunner.
I really appreciate everyone's impute who has participated so far.

Honestly, how are any of these cars safer than a Golf? The temptation to push any one of these cars to the limit would be too much for me to deny.
