I'm working on an old school arcade cabinet
it runs off of and old PC with a hyperspin frontend

but I'm looking for some good games for the classic days of arcades
so lets here your favorites

MAME for the arcade
zSNES for super Nintendo
rockNES for NES
I'm not sure what genesis emulator I'm running (I've had the same one since '03)

hyperspin can launch a ton of emulators without needing a mouse or keyboard

Battletoads, it's insanely, brutally, unforgivingly hard, but so rewarding to actually beat it

Smash TV, great arcade game but so much better if you can play it with two joysticks

Gunstar Heroes, fun and unique, and visually stunning

Gauntlet, another ridiculously hard game but fun

The New Tetris, obviously you need Tetris for any arcade, and if you can run it The New Tetris for N64 was by far my favorite version of Tetris ever

ah yes sunset riders was a great game
I like the side scrolling beat 'em up and shooter games
it's a genera we lost when we entered the 3d age

punisher for nes, is also great. It plays like SNK's nam-75, but with a marvel theme. If at all possible I'd hook a light gun up to that thing, but light guns are sketch these days, I don't think a pc monitor will work for them. Shit like lethal enforcer, narc, aria 51, house of the dead, maximum force, those where a great time at the arcade.

OK so I have a problem and I'm sure someone knows how to help
I'm looking for another monitor
the opening is 24" across
but because monitors are measured on the diagonal I'm not sure what size will give me the tightest fit
