Arcades are cooler than anything

How fucking cool is it that arcades exist? Rooms full of ARCADE MACHINES. Sure, none of us probably spend much time in them, but they are awesome. You could play ninja turtles and ski ball and then shoot some baskets!

There's a pretty fun arcade on the Santa Cruz boardwalk.

They have this crazy fucking game called Dead Escape 4D. Its a zombie game, but its 3D, the seats vibrate, air blows out at you to simulate shit, and it measures your heart rate which affects the game. Its fucking intense. My buddy and I hoped in the booth and were just shouting and shit in the middle of the arcade. After we finished there was a fat line of people waiting to play.

i really do love arcades. my brother and i would always go. i think there's still one in the mall a few miles from where i live. i've been wanting to go!

Yeah, I remember being five years old and I'd visit my dad and he'd give me a sock full of quarters and take me to the mini golf/arcade place. It was truly a heaven.

I was talking to one of my buddies at work yesterday about arcades, specifically the hologram Mortal Kombat on the circular table they had in the early-mid 90's. He's 24 so he'd never heard of it. He was like, "I don't know what the big deal is, I could just play Mortal Kombat on my 3D TV", and I was like JESUS...

I downloaded Mame and some roms last weekend cause I wanna play Turtles in Time and The Simpsons and Captain America and X Men in my living room.

Which was the X Men character who had the special move where he goes "OHHHHHHHHH!!!" and it knocks everyone down?

Nah dude, I've entered like 6 times and have never won. The odds are not in my favor.

Have you guys seen this Aesop Rock video based in an arcade?
