I was thinking say you make 2 billion dollars, then wouldn't you owe the government 600 million?

Small business owners also could raise the prices on their goods, if they have enough demand they'd even hire more people

People will move to computer jobs because manual ones were automated? Why wouldn't computer jobs also be automated, software is much easier to make than hardware.

To put machines together on an assembly line it doesn't require much skill, thats why microsoft does everything in China... it's somewhere between a high school diploma and an associates.

Someone will have to make sure the software performs correctly. I do not claim to predict exactly what these future jobs for the unwashed masses will be but it seems kind of silly to claim oh no we need to ban such and such technology because of unemployment. If history is any guide there will a greater and wider variety of jobs than ever due to technology.

That is true you can be intelligent and make low wages thats not the point though. The point is that these kinds of jobs require a low skill set and therefore low pay if you want more you provide more value to the marketplace. I am sure even you recognize that.

Sooner or later almost all work will be automated or software based. I have a friend who's a pharmacist that was telling me about warehouses where prescriptions are being filled by robots or some crazy stuff. Obviously there will need to be someone to program snd maintain the automation software but millions of people will have no reason to work in certain sectors.

In seatac they raised min wage to 15 dollars. Seattle is now fighting for the same thing it is a HUGE thing going on here.

In the future there will be only one job - IT.  Every person will have to interact with and learn to cope with the machines and programs that do everything else.  In this sense we go back to basic survival with and against nature, but a new nature of silicon and software.  The more things change, the more they stay the same.
