First Ps. weilii of the fall, small harvest (w/pics)

Out of all my 30-40 patches, one fruited this week. I harvested 32 Ps. weilii today in a neighborhood that yeilded thousands by this time last year. Oh well, some is better than none, and you just can?t complain. The sight and smell of them is enough to make me happy :smile: The pics were taken indoors at night in poor lightning, its the best I could do.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it.
If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

Awesome Finds. Congrats.
This is the first week of some decent harvests. I've only been hunting at night, but tomorrow is the all-out-Weilii-search day.

I have yet to get around to weilii hunting. Next trip up to ATL I gotta meet up with pseudo and remy and get my hunt on.

Yeah, hopefully the recent and coming rains with bring forth plentiful harvests! I think that my new species will be fruiting this weekend, gonna head out there and see what I can find tommarow, hit a few weilii patches while I'm out that way.


A personal side note: Some of you may be familar with the buisness my father and I started a few years back, we pump sand on some nice land next to a rock quarry, 1600 acres that we lease and have exculsive rights to. Well a house went up for rent right beside the property we work on. I checked it out a few days ago and put a deposit down on it today. 4 bedroom, 1 bath, 2 stories, sits on 2.5 acres, its pretty sweet. The house butts up agint the property I work on, so where my property line ends, my companies property starts. Basically, I have 1602.5 acres to play and hunt on, and a 4 wheeler do raise hell on :smile: Its gonna be great. Its gonna take a while to get my cable modem hooked up and the comp running again, so I'll be absent for a few weeks. I move in november first, so I might not be back here regular until the end of november or so. But I still have a few weeks left to post regular here.


Just thought I'd share the news with my mushroom hunting compadres :smile: I'm excited as hell about my move.

If it weren't for the unfortunate drugs laws in this country, I sure as hell would invite you all to one hell of a gathering, and its still a possibility someday.


The weilii are out in decent numbers, going to check a few patches now, will report back with pictures.
