I think it sounds good. I think that things should more be based on a random element, if such a contest were introduced. I am aware that not everyone on the shroomery even does mushrooms, let alone grows them. I think that perhaps all of the Moderators should choose a group of people for this to occur within. We'll call them "The Inner Circle". It would consist of all those who are interested in say, spore trading, at no cost to the members. The spores and supplies would be genrously donated by any of the many leading spore suppliers, and in return for donating whatever they have, they get extra advertising for their buisness. The only reason I say that the moderators should choose these people, is because there are so many of us here, that it would be next to impossible to be online at the right time to catch the questions.

Perhaps all of us who have spores, and cultures, could run a contest for all of the newbies. I know that it is a real pain in the ass to get all of the supplies together for the very first time. Why not share in our wealth, and fork out a free syringe evry month. We could call it "Newbie of the month." And all of us senior members could vote on who that should be.

I'm all for that! It sounds like a great idea.
But the prizes would be difficult to discern. Cash is always fun though!!
