Not a good idea today, it would be a complete waste of resources training and supporting a bunch of resentful men, it's better to concentrate the efforts on the willing.

Today's generation probably are the most anti-military/unpatriotic group of people in recent US history and for very good reason, they're not worth trying to convert.

No.  Mine was.  And for much better reasons.  Like the draft.

You will never hear or read me mention "The Greatest Generation" without a real or figurative spit.  They got 50,000 of my generation, many of them slaves, killed for nothing.  They didn't even have the stomach to win something that they well could have.
