It is a fairly particular thing and take no surprise when people do not enjoy it.  It takes a certain mind-frame for sure.  I find it oddly soothing.  You are probably a bit more chilled out internally than me :P

But yeh, I've never liked uptempo too much I guess. 140-155 is my comfort area :shrug:

I can totally see why people like it though, and honestly, this stuff played on early morning is pretty cool. I went to a Goa Gil party once, and even if it wasnt necessarily my kind of music, it was definitely a nice experience.

ok!  so for you slower tempo types, I just stumbled on some of the most well produced music I have heard in a while:

Glitchy/ minial progressive psy

Props for Mighty boosh sample usage.

Dirty Hippie Vs. Evil Oil Man





Not psytrance, but same guys and some of the only "Steppy" stuff I get into:

it's amusing that you think this is a chill tempo, though it does at least take a couple minutes to build up....quite abrasive from my PoV :lol: but brilliant all the same while
