Confirming Intelligent Alien Life or Immortality?
    #19743910 -

If you could choose from being Immortal, or being the first and only human person, on the earth, with irrefutable evidence that confirms that there are intelligent aliens... Basically you meet ET and can prove it, become famous, etc...

Which would you choose?

When you say immortal does it mean I'm still not going to die when the sun explodes several billion years from now?

One time my friend convinced me that I couldn't die when I was eating a bunch of mushrooms and DXM.

Dude, I got scared as hell, I craved death at that moment. I think everyones goal in life is to die.

I don't think so. I think everyones goal in life should be to reproduce, at least all of biology teaches us this.

If the immortality is escapable (I can choose to kill myself and end it) then I choose that. Otherwise, the alien thing

i'd try immortal, it seems more plausible to have some sort of massive life extension or immortality than making contact w/ aliens (which are undoubtably in existence, just seriously fuckin' far away), and being the first immortal would make you pretty damned "famous" if that was your trip (not mine)....

Everything is better than it was the last time.  I'm good.

If we could look into each others hearts, and understand the unique challenges each of us faces, I think we would treat each other much more gently, with more love, patience, tolerance, and care.

It takes a lot of courage to go out there and radiate your essence.

I know you scared, you should ask us if we scared too.  If you was there, and we just knew you cared too.

You all must have cool lives to want to be immortal. I can't wait to die and transcend.

All 'transcendence' is already here and now imho, but must be cool to project it into the imaginary 'future'..

Seems like you are waiting, or well, or you'd have done it  may as well enjoy the wait (at which point are you waiting?)

I think you mean irrefutable, plenty of people have refutable evidence of ET, it would suck to be the only one, people would just think your crazy. Immortality would potential suck once you're all alone, if you could still die a violent death, just wouldn't age, it wouldn't be bad.
I'd have to pick immortality anyhow I'm too curious to pass up the chance to see all the future that's still to come and ET encounters are pretty much guaranteed eventually.  If the universe has a cold death that would be pretty shitty, an eternity in endless cold darkness.  A hot death wouldn't be too bad, I don't know how you'd continue to survive when there's no matter but if you made it through you'd get to see a whole new universe from the beginning. It'd be like being god.
Given an infinite life time couldn't you reach a sort of internal nirvana, you'e no longer be a part of samsara as much as those who attain the usual enlightenment and aren't reborn.

I am waiting for now, I would say more but the voices don't want me to talk.

They say "good boy"

I've had a foot between two worlds for a while.
