I vouch for the dunk and roll method!

I did a dunk and roll on all 4 of my mycobag cakes after I've already harvested a first flush. They're pinning like a motherfucker!!! I'll get a pic in a couple days when they're bigger.

One of the cakes wouldn't pin at all, but after doing a dunk and roll, it's exploding with pins.

I had only put them 3/4 underwater and used unsterilized verm. So far so good. The pins have thick, wide stems, which will make for some thick ass shrooms.

I would highly recommend doing the dunk and roll. It's impossible to fuck it up.

can you dunk and not roll? I dont have any verm. What is the purpose of the verm on the outside of the cake?

Yes you can dunk and not roll. The verm on the outside of the cake gives the growing shrooms a better source of moisture to draw from giving you bigger shrooms and bigger flushes.

If you can't get verm you can use coca coir. If you can case with it I'm sure you can dunk and roll with it no prob.

A dunk and roll is simply a lazy man's cake casing. That seems to work pretty well.

here's a picture of some dunked,rolled and end cased hawaiins.
i might eat them tonight with 2g's of dried EQ.
