I think everybody has technically been a criminal at one point or another. There are so many obscure laws that aren't even enforced, and people break them every day. It's against the law to drive in the left lane in many states, unless you're passing or making a left turn. But who actually follows that law?

I do, but that's besides the point.

Criminal = could be brought up on criminal charges.

Parking tickets, speeding, traffic violations = Civil offenses. I am definitely civilly disobedient sometimes. I am not a criminal though.

i occasionally break  laws in terms of drug possession but that's it
