Hi,
i wanted to know if syrian rue alone would do something?

i also wanted to know( because i have herad that it can sometime be dangerous)which other drug can i mix with syrian rue to increase the trip without any danger?
like is shroom, weed, hbwr,salvia,cacti ok to mix with?

Syrian rue alone will do something. You'll feel happy and if you take large amounts you will trip(not a very pleasant trip as far as I know).

Weed+rue: will give you a more trippy high.
HBWR+rue: don't know about the effects. It will probably intensify the trip, like mushrooms+rue.
Mescaline+rue: same as mushrooms and rue.
Salvia+rue: same as mushrooms and rue.

I'm not talking from personal experience. Just what I've heard an read about syrian rue.

If you're going to ingest a mix, ask for a second opinion.

MAOI inhibitors are too dangerous for people to be playing with if they refuse to spend the day or so sifting through erowid and other webpages and doing their own research.

As said already watch out for wines and cheeses and such, because it can be dangerous. Also, I have been interested in this extra syrian rue I had sitting around from some ayahuasca. I was temped on trying it for a rec dose however, I would like to find more specific doses for a rec dose if I use. Due to the fact that you will throw up if you probably get a rec dose, I want to be sure I will get the rec level and not just the level where I would throw up (for no reason).

I have been reading about it for a little while now though and feel that it would be better saved for another ayahuasca or psiloasca hehe.

ingesting ground seeds, or even a horrid dtsting tea, wiil tend to have a heavier body load than a purified extract of the betacarboline chems from the seeds (the "manske/hasenfratz" extraction) because up to half of the alkaloids in Peganum harmala seeds are NOT betacarbolines (MAOi) but are other alkaloids, some of which seem to be acetycholinesterase inhibitors, some are uterotonics, & god knows what else...
and doing the manske extraction is nice, because it is kitchen chemistry, and the crystals are so pretty... (& if you are gonna ingest harmine & harmaline, 200 mg of fairly pure crystals are easier to deal with than 3 to 6 grams of ground-up seeds...
