Pretty much anyone who's spent two minutes researching decent headphones is going to laugh at you for owning them, but it's your money to waste.
I can only imagine that $400 took a long time for you to come up with; why waste it?

Suggest something better, that is wireless, and doesn't look like I'm a star trek engineer.

They are a gift, I'm not paying for them. I could ask for something else though.

Thing is, they don't even make rap music sound better.
Extremely cheap build quality, no instrumental distinction, all mid and high-range reproduction is drowned out by bass.
The bass, for that matter, is lacking in clarity and definition. It's just noise.

You could spend half the price and end up with a superior product. You could spend the same amount and end up with a stellar product.
Do not waste your money on these things.

They were going to be a gift. I was referring to wasting $400 of my families money. Well $300, my GF was going to pitch in the other $100. I guess I'll look around some more, I don't want to be disappointed. Maybe I'll check out those Sennheiser's

My Dad actually mentioned the SH brand after reading reviews.

I have Denon AH-D2000

And I run them through Objective 2 headphone amp

And I have modded them with JMoney lambskin cups

It's like 72 virgins talking dirty in my earholes

If you have that much to spend on the headphones I would definitely go
with the Sennheiser brand.  The HD 202's are only like 25 dollars :smile:
I would look into the Sennheiser HD 600, they're wired though.

I'm in the m50 boat as well.

Beats suck, but people get so fucking uppity about what headphones other people use. If you can't be convinced that it's probably not a wise choice (which I don't blame you, people are always vitriolic about it even if they are trying to be helpful) then just get them and fuck everyone else. If you like them ultimately that's all that matters.

Some neon green ones I found in the parking lot outside my work. No idea the brand. They work and sound fine, cant beat free :shrug:
