Wiccan, I read through the link that you posted as evidence and frankly am appalled by the complete misunderstanding of science in that article. It's laughable when he uses the concept of entropy to debunk the big bang.

I am a formally trained scientist myself and frankly I have no interest in rebutting the nonsense in this site as I find it to be a waste of my time and it would give legitimacy to the idiot who runs that website. Wiccanm you really should be ashamed for buying into that. I thought you had some semblance of scientific background seeing your posts in the Chemistry forum.

"Appalling and laughable"
"I am a scientist"
"The people who posted this are idiots"
"You should be ashamed"
"I won't confront the article point to point, but its automatically dismissed"

If someone is willing to believe the drug-induced burblings of a conspiracy theorist, then nothing i have to say nor that of anyone else will matter an iota. All facts are simply reinterpreted or ignored to satisfy their outlandishly abstruse theories.

Should I then not point out the fact that both of your last posts are composed entirely of logical fallacies? Is it not worth outlining these faults because you will ignore anything which contradicts you?

I for one, am always willing to admit that I was wrong on a subject. You do me a disservice in throwing out arbitrary insults without actually contributing to the discussion.

Personally I'm not even biased against The Theory, its not important to me whether or not the universe started in such a manner. However the cultish mentality some people have about it is concerning.
