Your Brain is God - Timothy Leary High Preist - Timothy Leary The Psychadelic Experience - Many authors Be Here Now - Ram Dass The Politics of Psychopharmacology - Timothy Leary The Invisible Landscape - Terence Mckenna DMT : The Spirit Molecule - Rick Strassman
I've got all these bookmarked at Amazon, and I want to read them all. But I can't afford all of them. Any of you guys read any of these? Particularly High Priest? What did you think?
Thanks

cool avatar eric says thanks for the bigup
no, i haven't sorry, but it sounds like you would get a lot from these:
Journeys out of the Body - Robert A Monroe The Center of the Cyclone - John C Lilly The Flame of Attention - Krishnamurti
You need to have a lot of time on your hands to do these justice.

This is the only one I have, and have read. Highly recommend it.
Also the Mckenna stuff sounds good. Though I've never read any of his books.

I have read DMT : The Spirit Molecule , its a very intresting book. I disagree with leary too much to even bother read leary (dont flame me leary fans) , i rather hear what winnie the pooh has to say about psycadelics than leary. im gonna leave it there
the center of the cyclone is a good book, i have that one too.

Psychedelic Experience = Pretty good read, recommended for any tripper
Invisible Landscape = Fucking mind blowing, must read, oh-my-gawd
Be Here Now = The entire book sums itself up in the 1st chapter. Unless you are a complete 'tard you shouldn't bother to read the rest of the redundancy. Lesse, ever thought about the concept of "live the moment"? yeah? well, there you go, you just figured out what ole rammed in the ass had to pilgrimmage and starve to figure out.

Be here now, and DMT the spirit molecule. Loved both. The first one used to practically be my bible when i was a teenager.

Well, it's a fun read, but nothing really new there...

High Preist - Timothy Leary
Haven't read it...
Quote:
The Psychadelic Experience - Many authors
Really interesting, but read it alongside a "normal" translation of the Tibetan book of the Dead to gain perspective
Quote:
Be Here Now - Ram Dass
Quite a novel book, 1/3 story (of Richard Alpert's life up to becoming Ram Dass), 1/3 art (a really strange poem sort of thing going through the book), and 1/3 yoga/cooking/ayurveda/etc advice... definitely recommend it
Quote:
The Politics of Psychopharmacology - Timothy Leary The Invisible Landscape - Terence Mckenna
Haven't read either, but I do recommend Food of the Gods by McKenna

DMT : The Spirit Molecule - Rick Strassman
Very interesting research (i wish i could've been a volunteer!)

Krishna summed it up rather nicely.
DMT was a good read, and to add on to your list Food of the Gods was a great read by McKenna. Ketamene Dreams and Realites is looking like a good book, to add on to your list.
I'l think of more later.
