Bones-Skeleton In COw fields...Spooky
    #1962439 -

Hi again....I am a regualar shroom hunter and have found the perfect-cow packed-welly grazed-desolate field that has been yielding alot of mushrooms throughout the past 6 months. (Same field from all my other posts) The 2nd or third time that I was wondering this field I came across something that looked like a Pelvis Bone (Wish Bone Shaped) Of course I knew it was too big to be human (If it was I would stay miles away from that field) and I assumed It must of been from a cow considering this is was a cow field. Strange as it was..I continued on my hunt and didnt put a second thought into it. Well last night (about my 15'th visit to the field) I started a little earlier than Usual (around 1am rather than 3am) and I just decided to continue picking throughout the night because I was finding SOO many shrooms. I traveled deeper into the field into new unfamiliar territory when I started spotting smaller bones (like slivers of leg or shin bones) again I just continued on my hunt until I came across Something really Spooky. I dont know whether it was the combination of the medium size Cope (I decided to test) that was beginning to kick in and the loud sound that came from the sourounding forest all at the same time of the spotting but....I discovered a full SPINal skeleton legs and rib cage attached just lying in the center of the field. It was abviously from a fully grown cow or horse and it was "Bone" dry...Meaning no meat-stench was left. It was either placed there or had decomposed years earlier. It would not be uncommon for a cow to get sick and die in a field but wouldnt the farmer take the 600+ pound rotting carcas away from the rest of the animals?!? ANd whats the deal with the parts scattered throughout the field. Well anyways I got the creeps and left that portion of the area. I sat down on a log by this peaceful lake and smoked a cigarrette while I called a Hic friend from high school to possibly explain this nerveracking experience. He was kind of baffled from the situation himself but he said that maybe the farmer placed the bones there to scare away potential shroomers. SOunds a little funny if you ask me and I can tell from my friends voice that he was just trying to calm me down. This might be the shrooms talking but you ever seen that show sightings?!?!!! I saw a scary episode where aliens were killing off cows and farmers were finding the remains of their livestock throughout the field....I Dont know what the hells goin on but Im a little freaked. Tell me what you guys think? Peace, Orizon

P.S. I might post this in General Questions to try and get a broader response Im kinda spooked if you can't already tell. (Like looking over my shoulder every 5 seconds spooked) If anybody is further interested or just doubts my credibilty...Ill try to bring a camera out there next time and take some pics of these bones.

explanation:
animals kill other animals, animals dont bury other animals remains.
cows are good animals for predators, big, slow, fairly dumb, and lots of meat.

maybe you shouldnt consume anything while hunting, might lead up to bad experiences where you would've otherwise been ok.

lots of farmers only have cattle to help graze off some of the grass and weeds and such in fields, not actually caring for the animals, one dies, oh well, it just fertilized a spot in the ground.

or maybe it was aliens killing cattle
or maybe, you as a human should realize that the likelyhood of a civilization outside our own planet would probably be more benign than humans. humans personify aliens as these cruel beasts who like to torture people, kill cows, prod our anuses, etc...when in actuality, why would a culture with advanced technology and far superior intelligence wanna do that?...once again, just human nature personified into another being.

point is, get over it and stop watching so much tv =)

bones are common, a carcass is rare, animals usually scatter the bones (thus making them common)
the animal was probably slaghtered and left, it also may have been poisoned, in which case it would NOT be used in dog food like most carion, too risky.

ALSO when there are problem preditors such as feral dogs or coyotes, farmers will often leave poisoned carion  around, i know someone who lost their dog this way, i even found a horse head hanging in a tree (intentionally hung) 100 yards from the dogs owners house, and i know who did it.  and i dont like the guy anyway, gee, now that i live in the same town again i should pay his ass a midnight call

I know that aliens are not what people personify them as and are probally more advanced docile beings that only mean peace.  But for every 100 good ones there must be a few naughty ones and I think you would have to admit that.....you would'nt want to get caught in a field alone with some nasty aliens where cow bones are found.  And I dont know what kind of dogs live in your town but No dogs I know of would be able to take out a 600 pound beast!  Maybe a pack of wolves or coyotes but I live in sub-tropical Florida nad those animals are not found here.  I think anything big eneouph to kill a cow (like a bear) would not be able to get through the barbed wire fence.  And that thing about the sole purpose of cows being in a field is sometimes to just graze off the grass....So whats the point of having a cow pasture then?  I always thought these cows were shipped off for slaughtering once reached maturity.  And as far as that horse head in the tree deal...Sounds like some sacrificial cult shit is goin down in that field.  I would freak out if I saw that shit.  That farmer probally pierces himself with chicken feet and worships the dead cows.  I did hear some chants coming from the woods one time but I think I dosed that night too so Im not passing that off as fact.  :nut:

most animals (with the exception of cows of course) find barbed wire fences to be a joke. deer can hop it, bears can maul it down, climb a tree close by and come down on the other side, or hop it (they are rather fast land animals, but no one knows this because they just see a big ass bear and assume it cant run very fast)

the cow could've been bit by a snake, happens all the time...and no one thinks about a snake when they see a corpse.
point is, 99% of the time a cow is dead in a field in this manner, it was another animal. the other 1% ill leave to cultists or aliens.

thanks for playing this game of 'mysterious cow death conclusions' =)

"Aliens do not exsist. Thats all I have to add to this thread."

wether or not they are coming here for COWS!(hahaha)
they do exist

for example

roger a macgowen , who holds an important NASA appointmnet in Redstone Alabama , even arrivies at a figure of 130 billion "possible cultures" in the cosmos

these estimates seem comparitvely modest and cautious if it proves to be true that the kiy to life -i.e. , the generation of all life from the four bases adenine , cytosine, guanine and thymine-controls the whole cosmos

anyway, aliens may have come to earth , in the early times , maybe even helped WHOLE cultures advance , south american cultures seem to think so along with many others

but these days it seems all we get is CROP CIRCLES!

and if you want to say all of those are fake, maybe you should EMAIL,
DR. HAKINGS!!, he found NEW geometry in a VERY complex circle
not only that , but if you know about fractals, and fractal programs, you will know that the math the image and the ......MUSIC is all interchangeable!!!!!!

I have heard crop circle music and its pretty weird

With the limitless number of planets, suns, solar systems, atmospheres, I personally think it's ridiculous rule out the probability of other life forms.
As for Aliens visiting Earth, if we had found a new species of life (or even a known species) on another planet...don't you think that every government with the ability would have their representative presence and studies in orbit around the alien planet? Running their own tests on the inhabitants?

i should also ad that cows dont really stay within the fence if they think they arent supposed to, they can easily push through, that nasty wire is simply a suggestion to them, even the electric, generally they are always assuming they will eventually find a way around...

but if you give a cow apples through the fence and leave, they assume there is better food through the fence and going around is NOT the direction they want to go.

ive been scolded by farmers for feeding cows apples over the fence, this is how i found out why, ive lived in farm communities since i was little

I knew I'd stir shit.

Don't get me wrong, I shouldn't have said they "don't exsist" because its really not at all what I meant to say. They have never visited earth, and that I am personally 100% confident in.

I fully believe that some form of alien life somewhere in our universe is entirely possible and probable. However it is my personal belief that everything in this universe is governed by physical laws that cannot be beaten. We have searched the outspace near us, and are confident that intelligent life doesn't exsist anywhere near us, we can see light years away, and have found nothing. Our radio and t.v. frequencies have been traveling deeper and deeper into outspace and have already traveled extremely far into space. If an intelligent lifeform was out there in near outerspace, they'd have picked us up by now, and likewise, we'd have heard some of their frequencies by now, especially if they are more evolved than us and have possesed similar technologies for god knows how long.

So, then intelligent life may well exsist somewhere out there, I like to think it does, but it has never visited us, and never will. There are pysical boundries of life and it will never allow us to travel such vast distances where intelligent life may or may not exsist. Now you can go on about "you don't know how advanced they could be" and so on and yadda yadda. But I won't buy it and I won't go into why. Life is life, no matter where it evolves, it has boundries, to think other wise is fiction, and you've just watched too much star trek.

I think it's alot safer to say you "don't know" rather than "100% positve" they have never visited. Because you don't know.

Just look at the sun. Thats one sun out of billions and billions and billions of suns. What makes us think we really know shit about the universe/physics to begin with.?

I said "my personal belief is 100%" because thats what I believe. I think we know alot about alot. I also think we have great imaginations and can think up some wild stuff and make anything theoretically possible. But thats not my style, I am a man of science. You don't need to see the entire universe to start and understand it. What applies in the parts of the universe we know and have studied applies to the rest of it. Why belive anything that isn't proven? There are way too many "ifs" and possibilities.

If a higher advanced lifeform had the ability to travel and visit us, they would have made it known and done what ever they came to do.

I do believe the probability that there is intelligent life elsewhere in this universe. And it blows my mind to think about it, and the possibilities, but I am also a practical thinker. Just because intelligent life exsists elsewhere doesn't mean it has to be super highly evolved, maybe there are millions of planets just like this one with all sorts of intelligent life, but the laws of life still apply to them, and they will never visit us, nor will we ever visit them. Maybe there are two intelligent lifeforms on two different planets that have visited each other, maybe theres a whole city of evolved plantes and they all have coffee together on sundays and are wllowed to visit each others planets as we do our countries, but we are too far out of the mix to ever be invited to join them.

Those are my thoughts and opinions, and they aren't etched in stone or anything, I'm just sharing

If you think that's spooky, one time driving down the road I passed two dead, disembowled. As in their entrails hanging out of their stomachs. That was the only damage to them we could see. The one had a white towel thrown over it.

Probably coyotes or vultures or small rodents spread the bones out, and picked them clean. A corpse in the woods actually doesn't have flesh on it for all that long.. shorter than if it was a human corpse, i don't believe many animals find people tasty. Creepiest place I've ever seen in the forest was a drop-off point for roadkill that coyotes had found.. there had probably been 30 or 40 deer carcasses thrown into this pen, and then drug out and devoured by wild animals, bones were the predominant ground litter in about a 40-foot-across circle..

Okay, I can respect that. You have your opinion, but are willing to admit that there may be other opinions that are valid as well.
I personally am not sure that I could put 100% confidence in them visiting or not.

I would like to argue a couple of your above points...just for the fun of it.

You mention unbreakable laws of physics that govern our world. At one time those laws included the Earth being flat, that was 'true' at the time.

Humans use a very small percentage of their total brain capacity. Who knows what the unused portions of our minds are capable of. With this in mind I have to consider the possibility that an alien species, even if similar to humans in genetic makeup, may have totally different methods of communication, travel etc.

I personally believe that IF aliens have infact been observing our planet, then their presence is benign and scientific in nature (as you hinted...they certaintly aren't after our technology)
